What do green hair dye, a tattoo gun, body wax and pineapple pizza all have in common? Well, of course, it’s the CHEO fundraiser that Chris Hofley kicked off the Friday evening of the long weekend while enjoying a cold brew with his roommate.
Hofley was feeling extra shaggy after not having a haircut for six months and thought of the idea of raising $1,000 for CHEO by shaving his head bald. He put it out on his social media, and that’s when things turned in a fantastic direction. City councillor Tim Tierney and his wife Jenny Ashton Tierney jumped on board, and things have been snowballing from there.
