The Ottawa Real Estate market is vast and diverse. Individual properties to be marketed for sale need first to be carefully assessed.  Then and only then can the specific nature of correctly suited, potential buyers be understood. Once these variables are established, a proper sales plan with a projected timeline and all the supportive elements can be developed.

Working with buyers is similar, only the research process starts in the reverse order. Firstly, we seek to understand the buyer’s absolute needs. We help refine a perspective of their hopes, and offer area specific understanding of suitable housing supply. From here we offer a thorough presentation of the most suitable properties available. Once we have pinpointed housing stock that is desirable, we research and present a rationale of value based on true and relative recently sold properties.

Buying and Selling property has evolved dramatically over the course of 20 years. The government regulations and institutions currently in play make Canadian Real Estate one of the most respected industries on the planet. It is a carefully managed field with far more complexities behind the scenes than average consumers may know. To name a few of the regulated organizations which manage and facilitate: The Ottawa Real Estate Board (OREB), The Ontario Real Estate Board (OREA), The Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA). Governed by The Real Estate Counsel of Ontario (RECO) and under the regulations laid out by The Real Estate and Business Brokers Act (REBBA).  The OLH team is deeply committed to the regulatory bodies which oversee our good professional and ethical practice.
