Baltic-Nordic Film Fest

On March 9, the eighth annual BNFF opens with Swedish selection Eternal Summer, a romantic drama about a young pair whose cross-country road trip results in some less than lawful experiences.

Also featured are an eclectic mix of films from Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania and Norway.

This year’s films are a wide cross section of genres and topics from gritty documentaries to coming-of-age stories to historical dramas and crime thrillers. Every screening is an Ottawa premiere presented in partnership with embassies of the Baltic and Nordic nations.
